TEMPO TEMPO TEMPO

Start with players in the middle on 2 touches and must play from neutrals on one side to the other before going to goal.

Scoring team plays out from the goal they scored on and starts the other direction. Conceding team off, and resting team needs to get in Quickly to avoid conceding. If resting team concedes uncontested. 10 push ups.

Setup as Square or long line as desired.

Sideways move in push up position + Ins/outs right foot

V-sit rolls + Ins/outs left foot

Push up rolls + Ins/outs both feet

Crabby crawls + Ins right/left foot

Push up jumps + Outs right/left foot

Mountain goats + shuffle

Hamstrings - touching toes +rolling the ball with sole

Knee up - pulling the knee up + pull/push laces R

Closing gates + pull/push laces L

Opening + R scissor + L outs cut

Speed skating + L scissor + R outs cut

Reverse speed skating + R step over + R outs cut

4 sprints each side

Repeat when necessary

Overlapping (15 mins)

Phase 1

Ball starts from the end line played out to a HM/Winger who lays off for the streaking FB who then goes to goal. FB becomes the winger and the winger gets a ball and gets ready to go. run from opposing sides as pictured. Coaches can stand in the way for a true wall pass.

Quality passes. Explode off the line for the overlap. 1V1 Shoot/out maneuver the GK decision.

Phase 2

Play from each end starts at a coaches signal. As the HM/Winger lays the ball off, they become a defender in the opposing line of play.

Same Points as Phase one, but winger/HM transition to Defense is key. Use body position to keep attacker outside. Wait for heavy touch to steal the ball away.

Attack/Defense/GoalKeeping (15 mins)

Set up pitch as shown

Starts from one end 1 v 0 breakaway. On the shot/ Attacker transitions to deff, and 2 from other team are now on attack. if GK saved, they are served from GK. If not then they start with ball at their feet.

2V1 until they get a shot then 3 from the first side come out and go 3v2 the other way continue until all players are consumed. Collect balls and reset.

Transition, High Tempo, Constant movement into space off the ball
