Transition 5v5+3 (20 mins)
Organisation:
5v5+3
(Pending numbers)
4v4+3
How to Play:
- Team on the outside keeps possession - Has the help of orange (neutral) team.
- Once pink win the ball they must maintain possession & transition to the outside while the red team will now transition to defend on the inside.
- To gain a point all attackers must touch the ball
Coaching Tips:
- Encourage all players to react quickly when transitioning from defence to attack and vice versa.
BPO
- Quick defensive transition to compact the field and press the team in possession.
- Win the ball back immediately after loosing possession
- Principles of defending.
BP
- Quick attacking transition by expanding into a wide shape.
- Promote spatial awareness to encourage players to offer their team-mates good passing options.
CHANGEIT / Progressions:
- 1/2 touch to neutral team
- 1/2 touch all players
- Reduce the playing field size.

How to Play:
- Coach will call which grid to play in.
- 4v3 (Pending numbers) in the grid.
- As soon as blue win the ball can red team transition back into shape.
- Can blue team get forward & score.
Coaching Tips:
