Crossing + Scoring (40 mins)
Organization:
- 4v4 + 2 with or without goalies
- half of 9v9 field
- wings are marked out
Instructions:
- Players are to play a normal game
- Play with outside player = 2 points
- Regular goal = 1 point
Coaching Points/Questions:
Recognizing space? What options does the midfielder have?
- When we lose it, when is it key to win it back? Part of field?
- Support angles
- Be brave, take people on
- Deciding when to dribble, pass, and now, shoot
- How close are we to goal?

2v1 to 3v2
Red player passes ball across field to either blue player.
Two things happen:
1. Blue player scores/ball goes out of bounds
2. GK save
Once either thing happens, blue team becomes defending team, reds bring two players out to make 3v2.
3v2 is over when the ball goes out of bounds, goal.
If GK save, play continues in the 3v2
