Organization:
- Field size adjusted as needed
- All players with a ball inside the field
Instructions:
- Soccer knockout inside the field, with players trying to kick other players soccer balls out
- If a player's soccer ball is kicked out of the field, they can only come back in once they've dribbled around the cone outside the field and back
- Can progress where now one player is the defender, and they have X seconds/minutes to try and get everyone out, while the attackers are trying to keep the ball for that amount of time
Coaching Points:
- Head up when dribbling to find open space and see where defenders are
- Keep the ball close when defenders are near, but take bigger touches and accelerate when in open space or past the defenders
- Use your body to protect the ball when possible, and how can we do that?
- Correct technique and which touch for which situation?

Organization:
- Field size adjusted as needed
- Players start at the corners of the grid with a ball each
- A cone in the middle that corresponds to each starting spot with the players
Instructions:
- Players working on different turns by dribbling to the cone in the middle of the field, executing the turn, and then dribbling back to the starting spot
- Work on inside cut, outside cut, pullback. Can focus on one or a couple depending on the ability of the group to grasp the proper technique
- Can progress by removing the extra cones and only placing one cone in the middle, now having all the players dribble towards each other acting as passive defenders to turn away from
Coaching Points:
- Proper execution of the specific turn
- Using our body to protect the ball when turning
- Close control leading into the turn, explode/accelerate after the turn
- Checking your shoulder before you turn

Organization:
- Field size adjusted as needed
- Two cone goals at the same end of the field as the players
Instructions:
- Players get into pairs and the coach passes a ball out into the field
- Players have to turn with the ball and try and dribble through either of the cone goals to score
- Can have numerous groups going at once
- Can progress into putting two goals in the field back to back and now having players try and score on the goals
Coaching Points:
- Close control of the ball as we approach the turn
- Technique of each different turn
- Accelerate after the turn and explode into open space
- Using our body to protect the ball as we turn
- Checking shoulder before turn to see where pressure is coming from
