moving with the ball into space
- 4 safe zones marked out in each corner of the pitch with 4 sharks positionally centrally
- players must move from one safe x=zone to another without being tagged
- tagged on the back/shoulders only
4-5 mins
frequent rotation of sharks
1 point for a completed straight run
2 points for a completed move to a diagonal box
ADD A BALL
- Players now travel with a ball
- Talk about touches, dribbling/running with the ball - the difference....
- Feints and dropping the shoulder with a burst of pace into space
- wingmaker moves for a bonus point
- be brave and direct, take risks

Breaking lines - attacking space in front / Passing Lanes
players in 3 teams - different colours
pitch split into 1/3 - one defensive team in the middle
in possession on the outsides
1 defensive player can press the final 1/3
in possession 3 passes to go and break a line
decision to either attack space and get to the other side or pass through a gap or around if narrow
if ball is lost your team become defenders and must transition quickly
Coaching Points
- recognise the space to play forward
- no hesitation, be confident and attack space
- ball speed when passing to break the line
- OOP staying narrow to make it difficult

play back into opposite player who will then repeat at the opposite side

-receive ball drag back and move to the side with outside of your foot before playing forward
for the opposite side, perform L turn around the cone and play forward
