Organization: 15*10 grids (multiple). Four players in the middle. Two on the end lines. Supply of balls on the outside.
Activity: 2v2 defending activity. Objective is for the attackers to receive from an end player and play to the other target player. Work for 45 seconds and swap the middle.
Coaching Points:
1. Close down early, show restraint.
2. First defender/second defender principles. Delay and deflect. Proper support.
3. Time tackles.
4. Keep everything in front.

Organization: Quarter field at Pine Glen divided into four horizontal zones. Balls behind goals. 14 players - 6 red, 6 blue + 2 goalkeepers. Rotate subs every 2 minutes.
Activity: Play 7v7 with regular rules. After three minutes add the following condition: the defending team must have all their players in the zone with the ball and the zone immediately behind the zone where the ball is located. As the attacking team plays into a different zone, the defending team must adjust and move into two new zones.
Coaching Points:
1. Delay and get numbers behind the ball.
2. First, second and third defender responsibilities.
3. Focus on overall compactness and eliminate gaps that attackers can play through.
4. Communication.

Organization: 50*40 field (Quarter field at PG). Supply of balls along the outside and in the goals.
Activity: 2 teams - Play 6v6 (including GK). LOTG apply, including retreat line. Each team plays 1-2-1-2. Perhaps some coaching over, but otherwise allow for free play. Award an extra point for every successful attempt (even if just wide) or shot on goal (even if saved). Teams manage substitutions.
Coaching Points: Reinforce key factors and objectives from the session.
