The idea is to get away from the idea that a set piece has to A, B, and then C. We want the players to create a situation where we and the opposition have decisions to make. We want to put players in positions where we can find an open player instead of hoping we trick them.

With this movement, the player by the GK will likely drag a defender, leaving two players open when the defending team looked to have everyone covered initially.

If they put two in the wall, we still have the player on the ball and one more open, but the changing of the player over the freekick will cause confusion for the defending team.
