1v1
Organization:
Two Groups of 6 Players
Instructions:
White team plays across to red - this triggers the 1v1 - Red needs to find team mate and once ball is played the attacker has 7 seconds to score. If defender wins the ball he can play to his team mate for a point.
The two reds then switch and the two whites switch. Same game is played. One group attacks and one group defends.

Progressions:
P1 : When defender scores and finds team mate - now they go 1v1 with the attacking player to two goals - 7 seconds (can also be 2v1)
P2: Attacker can now bounce ball back to teammate and go 2v1 but they are limited to half the field
P3: Defender wins ball and plays to teammate to make it 2v2

Instructions:
2 Defenders win the ball and score on counter goals

Organization:
1. Field set up as shown.
2. Two large goals.
3. Note: use mini goals if no goalkeepers available.
4. Small channel in middle of playing area.
Instructions:
1. Teams set up in 1-4-2.
2. To start, players restricted to assigned half; movement opens up as game progresses.
3. Teams play to goal.
4. Restarts: throw-ins and goal-kicks enforced.
5. Defending team is allowed to matchup 1:1 in central zone with attacking team.
Coaching Points/Questions:
1. Tracking vertical runner(s)
2. How do we prevent the opposition from playing forward?
3. How do we react when opposition plays backwards?
4. Identify when to press vs. when to stay/drop
5. Transition -- reaction when we regain possession (can we get forward quickly)
Regressions/Progressions:
1. R - if teams struggle to build out, adjust from 1:1 ratio in central zone to 2:1 in favor of attackers.
2. P - allow attackers from defensive half into attacking half after pass completed in central zone.
3. R/P - manipulate starting numbers as needed (e.g. 3v3 in each half, 5v1/1v5, etc.)
