Passing and Moving to avoid defenders
2 Teams of 3-4 players
20x20 grid
Each team with 1 ball.
Players must pass ball to teammates without hitting the other team.
1. Number players 1-3 or 1-4
Players pass in order (1 to 2, 2 to 3, etc)
Each team starts with 5 points. If ball goes out of the grid, team loses a point. Play for 1 minute. Team with the most points at the end wins the game.
Coaching Points:
1. Find Space
2. Don't hide behind the other team
3. Know who is passing to you, and who you are passing to.

4v4 Scrimmage to end session
Focus:
1. Spreading out
2. Controlling the ball first. We do not just kick the ball around the field

Focus on dribbling and passing while avoiding defenders
Set Up:
20x20 grid
Each player with a ball
6 attackers, 2 defenders (adjust to fit team needs)
Defenders holding a bib in hand. All players dribbling ball. Defenders attempt to tag attacking players. If attacker gets tagged, they must stop, hold ball above their head, open legs and yell "Help, I'm Stuck In The Mud!"
Teammates must pass ball between stuck players legs to free them from the mud.
Play for 1 minute or until all players are stuck, whichever is first.
Rotate defenders.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up when dribbling
2. Baby touches to keep ball close
3. Accurate pass/dribble through teammates legs
4. Scan the field to see the teammates who need help
