Organization -
- Set up multiple gates (roads) using domed cones
- Add 4 gas stations with different color domed cones, 1 in each corner
- Add a garage for players to meet at
Session Details -
- Green light = Go! Yellow light = Slow! Red light = Stop!
- Players drive their cars (ball) through the roads (gates) whilst listening to signals
- Gas Station - Coach signals players to drive their car to any gas station to fill up.
Players fill car by performing 10 toe taps on top of ball before leaving the gas
station
- Flat tire - Coach signals players to drive to any cone, place ball on top of cone,
count to 5 and then kick their car off the cone
- Robbers - Coach becomes the robber who then tries to steal the players cars.
Players perform a drag back to get away from robber. If coach steals a car, player
must do 5 toe taps to get back in to the game
Coaching Points -
- Small touches to keep ball close and under control
- Head up to look out for roads/avoid crashes/see where the robber is
- Drag back to turn away from robber/traffic/blocked road

Organization -
- Set up area as shown
- Add tall cones outside of area to demonstrate icebergs
- Each player is a penguin and has their own penguin egg (soccer ball)
Session Details -
- The coach takes all the players on an adventure to explore the ice age
- Various animals in the ice age try to take the penguin eggs
- Eagles, the coach shouts “EAGLE!” players put stop and put their foot on their
egg to protect it from the eagle
- Sea Lions, the coach shouts “SEA LIONS!” players trick the sea lions by
performing a drag back
- Polar Bears - the coach shouts “POLAR BEARS!” players try to stay away
and protect their egg by dribbling away from the polar bears (coaches)
Coaching Points -
- Small touches to keep the ball close and under control
- Roll the ball away from danger when performing the drag back
- Always keep your head up to see where you're going and to watch out for danger.
