Set Up
Numerous grids 2-3 players per grid
Cones off set in a zig zag pattern
OBJECTIVE
dribble with various parts of the foot around the cones as quickly, as you can with the ball under control
once you hit the last cone speed dribble back to your line next player will go.
PROGRESSION / TYPES OF DRIBBLING
1. only outside touches to get around cones
2. dribble to cone (once your at the cone) with the outside foot do a little sole drag to bring the ball back to the inside towards the next cone
3. start on outside left of the beginning cone
-dribble quickly to the 2nd outside right cone, then do sole taps (toe taps backwards) backwards to the starting cone, then dribble to the outside left cone and do the same, sprint to far cone do small outside touches around the cone and quickly dribble back to the start
4. Dribble to 1st cone drag ball back behind your leg and tap it towards the inside (CRUYFF) and continue to the next cone

2 groups race against each other
3 per team
set up as many games as possible.
2 disc cones 10yds apart
1 cone 10yds from 2nd disc cone
9 disc cones set up in a tic tac toe game
2 sets of 5 colored pinnies
OBJECTIVE
1. RED 1 makes a 10 yd pass to RED 2
2. RED 2 lays off a pass for RED 1 to run onto
3. RED 1 dribbles (RWB) to pylon circles around cone under control. Leaves ball at that cone.
4. RED 1 sprints to tic tac toe game.
5. RED 1 puts a pinnie on a spot
6. RED 1 sprints back ball at pylon
7. RED 1 passes back to RED 2.
8. RED 2 lays of a pass for RED 1 to run onto
9. RED 1 passes to RED 3
RED 1 takes RED 2 Spot
RED 2 takes RED 3 spot
COACHING POINTS
accuracy with the pass
RWB make sure you are under control but quick.
tight turns small touches around the pylon
(use different parts of the foot each race) outside, inside etc.

blue defend net on their left and attack net that is in front of them.
red attack net in front of them defend net to their right.
Reds start with a free shot, once the shot is taken, Blue attacks and the red player that shot defends.
