GK Power & Agility Drill
GK starts between the cones
GK to hop on to first cone - landing and taking off on opposite legs
GK then hops diagonally through all cones
Use big muscles for explosive power and momentum
Get low on landing, with foot pointing forward
Keep weight on toes

GK Speed & Agility Work
Set of 4 sprints, 2 to Left cone & 2 to Right cone
Progressively quicker - 50%, 70%, 80% & 100%
Footwork around L cone and back to centre
Coach calls a coloured gate and GK sprints through it
Repeat on R cone

Coach calls cone colour
GK sidesteps around that cone and back to start position
GK then gets IN LINE and into SET POSITION (on line level with front 2 cones)
GK then receives a volley from coach

GK Distribution Throw & Save Game
GK v GK in opposite goals approx 25 yds apart with 5 yd buffer area in centre
GK tries to roll or overarm throw ball past opposite GK
Ball must bounce on opposite side of buffer area
Play games in teams, GKs must swap when a goal is conceded
Play 3 minute matches
GKs to concentrate on technique depending on what type of save is needed

GK in both goals
GKs can score from a throw, roll or shot from own half
GKs complete save to take a shot, otherwise ball goes back to opposite GK
5 seconds to play from making save.
