Session Objectives
- Goal keepers are able to get in line with the ball as it moves across the area
- Goal Keepers are able to be set before the striker is able to shoot.
- Goal keepers are able to use the correct technique to save the shot from strikers.
Practice Explanation:
- Ball begins with a goalkeeper in either goal, who then pass out wide to a striker who takes a touch to face off with the other goal keeper and has a shot, firstly aiming in the middle section of the goal.
Challenge/Progression/s:
- The Goal keeper can play the ball to either the strikers or the opposing goalkeeper who can have a shot at any time.
- Strikers are able to pass the ball between themselves and the goalkeepers but a shot must be taken within 3 passes.
- Strikers shoot for goal not just the central area.

- Goal Keepers to organise their team mates.
Practice Explanation:
Game is progressed from the practice before by adding in a defender who is now involved in the play.
If the defender wins the ball are they able to play the ball around with the other goalkeeper and get in a position to shoot at the opposing goalkeeper under pressure.

4 Goalkeepers move around the 18-yard box with a ball each actively moving around the area by lobbing the ball in the air and catching, or rolling/bouncing and retrieving the ball. Players to range through different techniques such as Scoop, Cup, Catch and claiming a high ball.
At 2 minute intervals, players drop their ball and spend 30 seconds doing some dynamic stretching around the area.
Practice Objectives:
For Goalkeepers to be warm and ready for the session. focusing on dealing with balls from wide areas.
Challenge/Progression:
Goalkeepers pair up and serve the ball to each other to be able to communicate with each other and serve in different types of balls to each to work on their feet and getting in line with the ball.
