  • 4-4-1/4-2-2-1

Instructions:

  • Maintain possession. Attack with wingers and strikers when able.

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • This tactic will give team possession and ball control preventing the other team from having allot of opportunities.

Progressions:

  • Create spaces for attackers.
  • Chance rhythm promptly.
  • Maintain possession.

Regressions:

  • Keep organized formation after losing the ball.

Organization:

  • Two separate queues, rotate players (Whoever shoot goes to the passing queue, whoever passed goes to the shooting queue . 

Instructions:

  • Player on the left side of the field passes ball to player in the center, then player in the center strikes ball in the upper corners of the goal.

Coaching Points/Questions:

  • Repeat session from the right corner.

Progressions:

  • Pass the ball to the striker.
  • Striker score goal at the upper part of the net.

Regressions:

  • Both players run back into proper queue.

  • Once the ball is intercepted player switches sides.

  • Make sure all players get a chance to play both sides.

Progressions:

  • Maintain successful passing.

Regressions:

  • Become a player that needs to cut lanes, and put pressure on the passers/midfielders.
