3. How can we trick defenders to create space to receive? A: Make 2 runs: 1 for the defender, 1 for the ball
- "If I come first, I want the ball behind. If I go away first, I want the ball in front"

Obj.: Coach calls our number (2-3) and players pass up to their teammate on either side to play 2v2. One team attacks at a time

Lim.: Time rounds to see if they go over. (NO MORE THAN 20 MINUTES)
Coach Pts.:
Lay. 1: Use skill to deceive the opponent when receiving
Lay. 2: Create space for player with the ball (spread out) - wide & high
Lay. 3: Good support angles - be in the light of the player with the ball
Lay. 4: Quick Decisions** (may not be there yet)

To improve 1v1 duels & decision making in small numbers when our back is to goal
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Coach Pts.:
1. Why do we need to spread out? A: We spread out to create openings to pass or dribble the ball forward
2. How do we penetrate an opening? A: We can pass or dribble the ball forward though the opening
3.Where should you move to help the attack every time the ball moves? A: We should create passing options in the form of diagonal passing lanes.
Vocab/Feedback:
- "Paint your shoes (get wide)"- "Open hand when we have the ball, closed fist when we don't have it"
- "Create separation" check to the ball to get away from the defender
- "Can we play forward?!"
