Organization:
-12x12 box, or however large needed for number of players to move freely but tight.
-players in the box with a ball.
Instructions:
-players, while dribbling their own ball and protecting it, must knock other players balls from the box.
-any time your ball goes out of the box (whether knocked out or dribbled out) player must do X number of ball mastery to return (toe toches, box touches, etc)
Coaching Points:
-dribbling with the laces/ pinky toe, to control the ball and keep it close.
-head up every few touches to see the other players.
-use your body to shield the ball from other players and protect it.
Progressions:
P- once your ball is knocked out, you have to stay out. see who king of the hill is.
P- add a second box, split players evenly between the two boxes. if your ball gets knocked out you have to join the other box. winner is the player who knocks everyone out so quickly that he is the only one left in his box.

two players in each box, one on the ball
Instructions:
see (1)
first player tries to hold second player off the ball with shielding
if first player holds off the player for 10 seconds- 2 points
if defender gets the ball away- 1 point
rotate
Coaching Points:
shield ball with body sideways to hold ball and hold off defender
try to keep head up at all times
low center of gravity to be stronger on the ball
look to turn away from defender
Progressions:

P-player starts on a line shielding ball. looks to turn off defender and make it to far line.- 1 point

15x20 box
two lines in the middle either side of coach
one line starts slightly in front of the other
extra balls with coach
goals on opposite side out wide
Instructions:
coach "bowls" ball out trying to get it to cross the end line, both players are allowed to go when coach releases the ball. defender (line 1) attempts to shield the ball over the end line for 1 point. attacker (line 2) tries to win the ball and score on either goal for 1 point.
Coaching Points:
get to the ball quickly
check your shoulder
position your body between the defender and the ball
quick feet
low center of gravity
stick your backside out
Progressions:
If more than 8 players set up a second box going the opposite way. Coach will still be in the middle with all the balls, after bowling for one side turn 180 degrees and bowl the other way so that two games can go at the same time.
