1v1 to goal from a central position
Player A plays into Player B and it turns into 1v1. Player B perform skill and finish. Player A if they win the ball can attack the outside small goals.
Progression-
-Time Limit to finish.
-Keep Score. Declare a winner.
-2v1
Coaching Points:
-Good 1st touch.
-Head up to know where the defender is.
-Attack at speed and perform skill (beating someone with a big touch is a skill)
-Finish

Finish with a small sided game. Shoot for smaller numbers (3v3 or 4v4 with a GK). This will encourage more dribbling.
Make sure to use all players. Have a quick 2-3 min rotation if needed.

Technical Warm Up (20 mins)
Technical Warm Up- focusing on beating a player 1v1 with limited pressure.
Player A and Player B will work at the same time. The drill is a continuous flow (start on one side- finish on the other. repeat)
-Perform a skill beating the mannequin. Use shoulders to help shift defender.
-Both sides dribble in at the same time, perform skill (side steps, scissors, inside-out, etc), and dribble out.
Progression-
-Remove mannequin and players dribble directly at each other.
-Once the players confirm the skills and are moving through fast. turn into a 1v1 drill. One team plays the ball in and the other attacks.
Coaching Points:
-Shift defender left or right by dropping the shoulder and exiting the opposite way.
