4-1-4-1 vs 4-4-2 (4-2-4 in posession)

Back 4 go man for man - CDM is spare to pick up on toes or support defensively

- if CF drops in to get the ball he passed over to CDM

- CB then becomes spare to sweep

FB's first job is to DEFEND

- They will be looking to hit balls in over the top

CM's go man for man with their 2 CM's

WINGERS - split the FB and Opp. Winger - opposite side of ball drop in to help. So if the ball is coming down our left with their LW then our RW stays forward in pockets as our out ball

1 FWD looks to stretch the play by going wide - can we create an overload against an opposing player?

Other FWD occupies the CB's
