Passing Pattern - Counter Attack

Organization:
Player A, plays into N1 who sets the ball for Player B
Player B plays into N2 who sets the ball for Player A
Player A plays into Player D who sets to Player B
Player B plays across to Player C and the passing pattern starts again.
The two neutral players should change after 60 seconds.
Coaching Points:
- playing forward quickly
- Setting the ball accurately
- Running forward quickly

Counter Attack

Organization:
An attacker (Player A) starts with the ball going 1v1 against a defender (Player B).
The attacker can only score once they have entered zone B.
If the attacker scores, Team A earns a point.
Player B tries to defend vs Player A and then create an attack on transition. If Player B wins the ball he has the option to pass to either of the two defenders positioned on the side of the practice to create a 2v1 to goal.

SSG-Counter Attack

Organization:
Normal SSG but with certain points
4v4 (or whatever you have numbers wise) with 2 neutral players (N). They play for whichever team is in possession, but work on a limit of two or three touch limit.
If the team out of possession steals the ball back and scores within five seconds, they score 2 points.
If the out-of-possession team wins the ball back in the opposition teams attacking half and scores, they earn 4 points.
Any other goal is worth one point.
This should give the team with the ball an opportunity to attack quicker and with an overload – both in possession and in attacking transition.
