Shooting


Suggested area 35 x 35 (adapt to player ability, if players cant shoot from half way line of practice pitch then decrease area)

Equipment

2x Goals

Flat markers to mark out pitch / half way line.

Bibs

10 Players (if 11 or 12 then have 1 player on each team swapping with the poacher)


  • Two teams play with goalkeeper in each goal.
  • The aim is to for each team to score as many goals as possible in opponents goal.
  • There are two ways to score, from a shot inside the players own half or by a rebound in the opponents half (poacher)
  • Each team is only allowed one player in the opposing half acting as a poacher. Poacher can also try and block and long range shots. If poacher wins the ball, they must pass to the players in the other half to try and get a shot off.
  • No corners if ball goes out then coach rolls ball onto playing area where ball went out for a long shot.
