Overload Game #1 (25 mins)

16 players or more, split into 2 teams. 50 - 60 yds long, central zone is 10 yds, outside zones are 20 yds each.

2 players play 1v1 in the central zone. Aim is to break out to create a 3v2 situation. When player breaks out of 1v1, other player (defender) stays in central zone.

If the team with the 3v2 does not score then the losing player from central zone receives a 2nd ball in order to attack opposite goal in a 3v2.

1.Change Direction and Speed in 1v1 situation

2.Quality of pass - Accuracy and Weight.

3.Angle, Disatnce, and Speed of Supporting players.

Overload Game #2 (25 mins)

14 players or more, split group into 2 teams. Played on half field.

Two teams will take turns attacking. Blue team attacks (ball starts with pass into GK from coach) 3v2 against two Red defenders. Once this ball is played out, then coach passes the ball to 2 waiting Red players who enter the pitch to create a 4v3 sitiation going to opposite goal.
