Players in 2 x groups of 10

5vs5 Attackers to Defenders (4 plus 1 GK)

Attacking

Vary long / short corners.

Low / high

Players coming into the box from outside rather than all stood static in the box awaiting the corner

Defending

GK positioning

Near post

SSG - Width (30 mins)

Encourage players to use width

Standard pitch set up box to box on 3G,

Flat markers linking corners of boxes to create channels

9v9 with GK, only 2 wide midfield players allowed in the channel. If the get the ball in the channel they can run unopposed and cross ball into the box. Opposition player in the box cannot tackle

2 goals if score off a cross from the channel,

1 goal if score without a wide cross.

Lat 10 mins lift channel restrictions and use full width of the pitch, no protected area
