If 2 plays #4:
1. 4 can play to 6,7,5.
2. 4 can play 8 to get out thru the middle
3. 4 can play 3. Once 4 gets the ball 3 must open wide in order to play down the line to 11 as 11 opens up wide as well.
#2 can also play 7,9 or 10 behind the defender.
to play 9 and 10...7 must make a run to the ball to bring defender
Overall dangerous players are 8, 3, 10 and 9.
The overall objective is for the throw in to get the team out of their own third whether it be thru play of possession passes or by a long throw in behind defenders which will allow team to move forward.
