6 v 6 (+ GK) - GKs can rotate in and out with each reset
i. Attacking Play starts by taking ball from centre-circle. (e.g. Red attacks Blue)
ii. When play breaks down, Blue will become Attackers with White coming on at speed to defend. Red will have to vacate the area as quickly as possible by sprinting to end-line. (Physical/Psycho-Social)
iii. White must then press as high up the field as they can to avoid Blue shooting early from distance
iv. When Blue score / shoot / lose possession, repeat previous rotation of players
Coaching Points:
a. Defenders must PRESS HIGH, and QUICKLY (Tactical)
b. Transition from Defence to Attack phase must be done at SPEED
c. Transition from Attack to clearing the area must be at SPEED (Mentally, players will switch off as soon as the attacking phase of play has ended - this cannot be allowed to happen) Encourage players to be vocal in getting their team-mates off the field (Psycho-Social)
d. Attacking play should be kept to 1- and 2- touch play as best as possible (Technical)
e. If shot is on early, take it early (Shooting from Distance) (Tactical)
