Warm up: Part 2 - Team Races

4v4 + 4 Bumper Players:
- Set up as shown in diagram, 4v4 plus 4 players on the outside (bumper players)
- Use half of the indoor field
- 4 pug goals (attack 2 goals and defend 2 goals)
- Players on inside have maximum of 3 touch
- Bumper players in wide areas have 2 touch
- Bumper players on ends of the field have 1 touch
- Play winner stays on (one a goal is scored)
Coaching Focus:
- Speed of play & when to penetrate?
- Controlled possession
- Movement off the ball (angles of support)

3v3 + 2 wide men - Attack vs Def.
- Set up as shown is diagram (whites attacking, blue defending, red attacking wide-channel players, yellow players are a 3rd team and will come onto field for the team that is scored on)
- Use half of the indoor field.
- Play starts with white player playing ball into white forward players, passer then joins the attack
- Blue defenders must be goal side of the white attackers to allow pass to feet, but once pass is played blue defenders can move anywhere they like but NOT in the channels.
- Red channel players move up and down their channel and can only have up to TWO touch
- Players in the middele can have as many touches as they like.
- If Blue defenders win the ball they try to score with a pass to the coach in between the two poles.
Coaching Focus:
- Movement off the ball, create seperation from defender
- When to penetrate and when to be patient (pass back or use wide men?
- Angles of support
- Speed of play (high speed but demand quality technique)

Crossing and Finishing
- 3 teams plus 2 GKs
- Once a goal is scroed losing team goes off
- Can only score from a cross
