Organization:
One player from each team stands at their starting line outside team zone.
When the whistle blows, the player runs one lap around the
circle, runs around the team's starting cone and then next teamate can begin their lap
The last player in the relay runs into thecenter for the central tall cone/flag.
Last player must be able to collect cone/flag and return to the passing zone before anyone tags them.
If tagged tagging team steals the point
Coaching Points/Questions:
Timing of runs
Should never stop
All of these activities are 10 minutes max (anything more is endurance training)
Regressions/Progressions:
Progress to using ball (10min plus 10 without ball max)
10 min max without ball
This basic game should be varied each time that you
play it.
For example, players can:
skip around the circle;
jump over hurdles;
roll or pull a tire
balance cone on their head

Same game as before but players must beform skill at each teams cone in order to continue running. Actions are meant to be quick and sharp so they can still get away from taggers (If game is being played with taggers)

1.One player from each team stands at their starting line outside team zone.
2. When the whistle blows, players run three laps
3. WAR Marathon:The tag rule is in effect. A runner is disqualified if tagged by
another runner; he must immediately get out of the way. (this is harder; essentially every player can score a maximum 3 laps. See below for easier version)
WAR Sprint: Variation: Set a 60-second time limit. See which team can have
the most players complete laps within the time limit.

Original Liverpools
Organization:
Position 2 players per flag pole, plus 4 more at one flag pole. The flag pole with 6 will be the starting position 2 players per pole. Start pole has 4 (or 2 if you are using single)
To start, 4 players from the starting position sprint to the next flag pole. When they reach the next flag pole 2 of the players stay there.
The other 2 run to the next flag pole and rest. As soon as the first group hit the first flag pole, 2 players join them and sprint the length of 2 flags.
Regression:players can participate as individuals if you can set up multiple games.
The whole concept is for each pair to sprint 2 flags and rest. On each sprint they will be paced by 2 players. Each circle completed equals 160 yards. Record total distance sprinted.
