Players are numbered 1 through 4
On the coaches call, pleyers race to score.
The first ball to cross the line scores a point.
Encourage
- Good first touch - enabling players to shoot fast
- Pace and accuracy of shot
- Awareness of GK position
- Limited touches to get early shot

Set up:
1 team each player with a ball lines up opposite the goal 10-15 yards out.
in quick succession each player takes a touch then shoots.
Each goal scored is added to the teams tally.
Play 3-4 rounds, highest goals total wins.
Encourage:
- Good preparation touch.
- Look up before shootng to assess Gk position
- Instep for power/Inside for placement
- Follow through (allow rebounds as porgression)
- Low driven shots into corners

Shooting/Finishing warm up game
Players are divided onto two teams.
Blue team starts with the first shot.
After his/her shot the blue player runs to defend the goal from the other side as the GK and faces a shot from the white team.
The game continues with each player taking a shot then transitioning to goal keeper.
First team to 10 goals wins. Repeat the game.
Encourage
- Use of instep for accuracy and increased power (Shot)
- Use inside of the foot for placement from closer areas (Finish)
- Good first touch enabling players to strike the ball and hit the far post (based on position of GK)
