Continuous 3-1 against a press:
Here we play a 3-1 against a press. The press can be a in a 2-1-1, a 2-2 or even a full man mark 3-1. The second the ball comes across the halfway line a new ball is introduced. The attacking team get a goal everytime they score. The Defending team get a goal everytime they win the ball back in the opponents half. If they win the ball back and then score they will get two goals.Attacking players can go and join in further up the pitch and create a 2 v 1 (or a 2 v 2 if the defender follows) but the second the ball is in that half another ball will be in play so it is important for the players to weigh up the risk and reward.

Part 1 (30 mins)
Passive 3-1 Breaking down a low block:
In this exercise we will play passively. Defenders can not tackle, only intercept while the attacking players can not dribble past the defender.
Predominantly working on the movements we can use in a 3-1. How we can affect the opposition with movement.
Can we affect the middle?
Can we play into the middle?
Can we transition fluently into a 2-2?
Can we work an opening without using individual brilliance?
After 10 minutes we can move into free play. Both teams should have a go at each other passively and in free play.
