1.) Split the teams into two groups, and divide the possession grid in half.
2.) One side of the half is a 7v5. The team with numbers up possesses the ball. The defensive team tries to win the ball.
3.) When the defensive team wins the ball, they look to play their targets in the other grid. Once that is executed, they immediately run and help their two teammates maintain possession. The other team now sends over 5 defenders.
Objective- Possess the ball as effectively as possible, and when the ball is lost, transition quickly to defend and win that ball back.

Warm up (20 minutes) (20 mins)
1.) Players pass in a basic pattern and as they rotate to a different cone, they do it with movements and stretches.
2.) A passes to B; B lays off the ball back to A and back pedals to create a passing lane; A passes to C; B applies immediate pressure on C; C receives the pass and attempts to dribble around B.
Focus: Passing and receiving while being pressured. Pressuring immediately the moment a ball is turned over.
Objective: Players will look to combine passes quickly and move off the ball to create space and offensive opportunities. Plus, each player is required to defensively shadow a player with the ball during the passing pattern.
