Wave game

Organisation: Area of 36m x 44m Split in half.

Explanation: First red player will get the ball from the feeder and play a 1v1 against the blue GK. The blue team will then get receive a ball and play a 2v1 against the reds to the left hand side goal. When the ball goes dead, the feeder will play a ball to a wide player who will join the red team to have a 3v2 overload to the right hand goal. The final play will be when the feeder passes a final ball into the blue team who will play 4v3, attacking the left hand goal.

Adaptions: If needed can play 3v1 or 4v2 to make the overload bigger. Everyone has to touch the ball on each team before shooting. Talk about depth and movement. Perhaps to make it more difficult have a 20 second time limit.

Interventions

Coach walk through. Slow through the session. Have balls ready and help the overload team if needed.
