THE SESSION: Combinations to Goal
- A plays to B and begins to overlap B. B plays to C who is checking to the ball and then begins to overlap C. C Finds A. A then shoots on goal with B following up for rebounds.
- Players from line A and B rotate after each rep, however player C stays for several reps at a time (Use your #9 and talk about linking up and timing runs)
PROGRESSIONS:

THE SESSION:
- A plays a ball out wide to B, B then plays into C (Target player) while D is making an overlapping run around B. C then finds D outwide for a cross
- A, B and C cover vital areas in the box for the cross.
- Make the pattern functional by grouping players as fullbacks (D), Midfielders (A), Wingers (B) and Forwards (C)
- C rotates every few reps, everyone else simply jogs back and returns to their line.

- Identify lethal areas to aim for.
- Second six yard box, edge of the box
- Near post run, far post run, pullout for cut back

THE SESSION: 4v3 - 5v4
- 4v3 Possession game. 4 reds look to hit 2 red targets on the edge of the box. 2 targets have passive pressure on them until the ball is layed off to a supporting Red OR the other target.
- Red go to goal
- If Blue win it they score in two counter goals
- Offside rule is in effect
PROGRESSIONS:
- Add in an extra target and defender and go full pressure.

- Early support underneath
- 3rd man runners trying to get beyong the back line

- Emphasis on playing crosses in from wide channels
- Emphasis on attacking combos
PROGRESSIONS:
- Goals scored from crosses or combination play are worth 3 goals.

THE SESSION: Passing Patterns
- A plays to B and begins to overlap B. B plays to C who is checking to the ball and then begins to overlap C. C Finds A who then can find B back OR simply play to either line D or E.
- Once the ball arrives to D or E the pattern begins again going the other way.
