Set Up
Make a 20x20 area. All of the players need a ball.
Instructions
To start with have the players dribble freely, adding in toe taps, foundations, a single scissor and a pull back turn.
Add in this weeks skill a single step over and this weeks turn an outside hook.
Progression 1- laces only
Progression 2- inside, outside
Progression 3- laces, inside, outside
Progression 4- inside, inside, outside
Progression 5- outside, outside, inside
Coaching Points
Get as many touches of the ball as possible.
Small touches to keep the ball close and under control.

Set Up
Make a 15x15 area and have groups for 4 players. Each group needs a ball. Make sure to have spaire balls.
Instructions
The ball starts with an outside player from each team. The make a short pass to the closest player who controls it and passes the ball up the field to their teammate. They control it and they play it to the outside player. Then you come back the other way.
Progression 1- Play a short pass to the closest player, they control it and pass it back to the outside player. After they get it back they make a longer pass to the other player in the area. They control it and then pass to the outside player.
Progression 2- Pass to the player further away but coming towards the ball. They control it and pass to the player that was the short option but has now moved forward. They then pass to the outside player.
Progression 3- Pass to the player further away but coming towards the ball. They control it and pass to the player that was the short option but has now moved forward. They then play a short square pass for the other middle player to run onto and pass to the outside player.
Coaching Points
Pass and control the ball with the inside of the foot.
Try to control the ball in the direction that you want to play in.
Move off the ball.

Set Up
Make a 15x15 area and split the players into 2 teams of 2 plus 3 neutrals.
Instructions
The teams of 2 are in the middle of the area plus 1 neutral with the other 2 neutrals playing on the outside. The team with the ball tries to keep possession as best they can using the neutral players to create an overload. 3 passes equals a point. If its going well increase the number of passes to get points.
Coaching Points
Movement off the ball to create passing lanes.
Pass with the inside of the foot.
Control the ball in the direction that you want to play in.
Keep moving the ball away from the defenders to maintain possession for longer.

Set Up
Use half of a field with a regular goal at one end and 2 small goals at the other end.
Instructions
Set the players up in their 9 a side formation against 5 defenders. The keeper starts with the ball and roles it out to the defenders. They then play forward from the back against the 5 defending players with the aim of scoring. If the defending players win the ball they can attack the goal.
Progression 1- can we score with everyonw touching the ball at least once.
Coaching Points
When the keeper has the ball the defenders need to drop and go wide.
When receiving the ball by side on so that you get a positive first touch and so that you can play forward quickly.
Wide midfielders get as wide as possible when the defender gets the ball.
Play the ball forward quickly.

Set up
Make a 20x20 area and give each player a ball.
Instructions
Select 2 players to be the chasers and spread the remaining players around the area. The chasers run without the ball and have to tag the other players. Once you get tagged you have to stop, pick your ball up hold it above your head with your legs spread wide apart. To get back into the game another player has to come and pass their ball through your legs.
Rotate through all of the players so that everyone gets a turn of being the chaser.
Coaching Points
Keep the ball close to maintain control.
Get your head up to look for space to run into, to see where the defenders are and where your players are.
