Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Possession/movement

Set up in 40 x 40 area12 -14 players

In the middle create two 2v1 scenarios. Red team is in possession. Play starts in opposite corners (A/B) and use two balls. The ball is played in to the player in the middle and his objective is to move it clockwise to his player in the next corner then move to receive a pass back and again make a pass to the next corner. Players try to complete the cycle without interception. The 2 whote players pressur the red player but are passive.

Coaching points: Good passing, receiving on the back foot, movement, change of direction and change of speed
