Organisation:
Please create two diamonds as shown above. Setup the red cones first and add the blue ones if you are doing that progression.
Instructions:
Pass in sequense of the letters and follow your pass after.
Progressions
1. play a give and go and other combination variations
2. player receiving the ball would start in the middle and run to the outside cone and receive the ball as they turn and open up to the next pass they are making. (focus on movement and body potition. must be able to see the pass and player they are passing to next)
3. you can also have the player start in between the two points (blue cone) and run to receive the ball and continue going.
4. You can also add a net depending on what you are working on and when the player on done D received the ball, they dribble and take a shot at the net.

Duration
Set Up:
Need two cones roughly 10 yards apart to start. Set two other players at each end of the grid and another in front of the defender in black.
Instructions:
The defender is between the cones in black and when the ball is passed, the defender will touch one of the cones and attempt to block the pass. The attacking player will receivea ball and then shoulder check to find the open space and turn to make the pass.
Defender will stay in for 3-5 turns before switching out.

Set Up - 7 minutes
Set up the activity as shown above (size and cone spacing varies on age and ability)
Enough balls for each player
Instructions
Players will be in groups and dribble around the mannequin and then take a shot
Progression
1. Have a relay challenge for 90 seconds and see which team, gets more goals in that time
2. After the player goes around the mannequin and shoots, they will turn around and then shoot a first time shot in the other net. Have another plyer on the other side of the net to pass the ball in and rotate.
Rotation: Player from line A will dribble and shoot then turn around for a first time shot on net B. After shooting the shooter will go to net B and continue on.

Receiving Fundamentals (5 mins)
Organization:
As many 5x5 yard grids as you need
Instructions:
Working on controlling and settling the ball.
Players will be in pairs as shown above and one player will have the ball in their hands. Player with the ball will throw the ball at different heights and the receiving platyer will contril and then dribble to the other side and get ready to throw it. Throwing player will go to the other side and receive.
Round 1: the player receiving will need to control the ball using their laces
Round 2: the player receiving will need to control the ball using the sole of their foot
Round 3: the player receiving will need to control the ball using their thigh
Round 4: the player receiving will need to control the ball using their in-step
Round 5: the player receiving will need to control the ball using their chest
