Organization:
Set up players in groups of 4 with one ball per group. Players set up as shown around a 20x10 area
Instructions:
Have two players at each end and two in the middle.
Player 1 on the end makes a short pass into player 2 in the middle.
Player 2 makes short pass back to player 1. Player 1 then makes a longer pass across the area to player 3 on the opposite end line.
Player 3 receives and makes short pass to player 4.
Player 4 makes a short pass back to player 3 who then plays a long pass back to player 1.
This completes the rotation and counts as 1 goal. After 5-6 goals switch the inside players with the outside players.
Make it competitive by making it a race between teams but demand technical quality over speed.

Progressions:
All players must take 2 touches.
Sideline players can only take 1 touch.

40x30/30x20 yard area set up as shown
Players get into 3 teams - 3rd team provides target players
1 ball (Extras around the outside)
Instructions:
Two teams play in one of the zones (half the field) with one ball
Teams aim to successfully pass the ball to the opposite target player in the other zone, (the target player in this zone may play for the team in possession).
As soon as a successful pass is made both teams transition to that zone and repeat the process.
A team scores a goal when they successfully hit a target player.
If the ball ends up in the wrong zone due to a poor touch or pass the coach can decide who starts in possession.
First team to 3 goals wins.
Coaching Points:
Quality passing
Range of passing – introduce disguise.
Movement off ball, supporting angles
Don't take unnecessary touches – Pass 1st time.
Use both feet
Progressions:
Team must make a certain number of touches before playing penetrating pass
Limit player touches
The scoring touch must be in the air to the target.
Finish with 4v4/5v5 small sided game

Organization:
Open area

Instructions:
All players must begin by taking 3 touches or 2 touches before they pass.
Focus on weight and accuracy of pass and incorporating push pass and outside of foot pass.
On coach's 'go' group must make 15 passes – as soon as they complete 15 they go down on one knee and shout “Champion”.
Be strict on technical quality – if they take fewer or more touches the pass doesn’t count.
Coaching Points:
Be aware of space by constantly looking around.
Quality of preparation touch to place the ball into space and in front ready for the next pass.

Progressions:
Players must take 2 touches but must use the same foot for control and pass.
Players must take 2 touches but must use alternate feet.
Players must take 1 touch – can increase the number of passes that they must complete to 25.
