Set up
The field is split into 3 and 3 teams. Each team must stay in their 3rd, the team in the middle must try and win possession. When they do, they pass back to the other team (RED in the scenario above) and then swap with the team they won possession from. 2 players from the middle can leave their 3rd to apply pressure.
Coaching Points
- The 4 P's- Team mates should read the play and position themselves to cut the pass.
- Defending team stay narrow and cut the pitch in half using your body positon.

Set up
ATT v DEF. Blues set up in a 3-5-1, whites in a 3-3-1. The ball starts with the Blues losing possession deep in their half, the Whites then attack to the goal. Blues then must reorganise from their attacking positions, ready to defend. Play live rounds. If the Blues win the ball then must attack quickly, with only 10 seconds to score in the small goals, but must use their no9.
Coaching Points
- As previous
- B6 must cut the pass to W9.
- B7&11 must get narrow quickly to support the defence.
- Defenders communicate with the players in front where you need them to be.
