Equipment: 7 cones, 8-10 players, goalie, supply of balls, net
Setup: Set up a 10 yard square at the corner of your 18 yard box. Place a cone for position B 15 yards in front of it. Place a cone for Position A in line with the centre of your goal 25 yards out. Place a solo cone 5yards outside of the top of the box and 3 yards off centre.
Activity:
-Play starts with player A who rolls the ball out of their feet. This triggers player B to check out off the cone.
-Player A then plays a pass to Player B and begins an overlap run looping behind Player B and down to the corner box.
-When player B receives the pass, they take a few small touches towards the middle of the field then play a pass down into the corner box. After the pass, they begin a looping attack run around cone C.
-Player A runs onto the pass in the corner box and plays a firm pass ALONG THE GROUND using the top centre of the 18 yard box as the target area.
-Player B times their run from Cone C and attempts to finish using the inside of their foot.
-Players switch lines after each turn.

Equipment: 9 cones, 9-12 players, goalie, supply of balls, net
Setup: Set up a 10 yard square at the corner of your 18 yard box. Place a cone for position B 15 yards in front of it. Place a cone for Position A in line with the centre of your goal 30 yards out. Place a solo cone (D) 5yards outside of the top of the box and 3 yards off centre and another solo cone (E) 5 yards wider.
Activity:

-When player B receives the pass, they lay off a pass for player C and begin a looping attack run around cone D.
-Player C receives the pass, they take a touch out of their feet and play a pass into the corner box. They then peel off and begin a looping attack run around cone E
-Player A runs onto the pass in the corner box and plays a firm pass ALONG THE GROUND using the top centre of the 18 yard box as the target area.
-Player B times their run from Cone D towards near post to cross the goalie's path and attempts to finish using the inside of their foot or fake and leave or flick on to Player C depending on situation. Be creative
-Player C times their run towards the far post and be prepared to finish if ball comes through.
-Players Switch lines after each i.e. A goes to B, B to C and C to A.

Shooting Warm-up (15 mins)
Equipment: 8 cones, 8-10 players, supply of balls
Set up: box 5x5 yards in front of 18 yrd box ( or closer depending on your age group), 2 cones orange three yards back. 2 cones for players starting position 5 yards back.
A)- Start with position A. Player pass the ball into the red box, make a run around orange cone and has a shot on goal. Repeat with other side ( Position B) using left foot. With the younger ages after you shoot you become the goalie, unless there is a full time keeper. After shot or keeper, proceed to other line.
***Stress the angle and speed of approach for power.
