Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)
Warm-Up & Activation done before technical exercise.
Each exercise will last 20 minutes to stay on task.
During Midfield Rotation exercise, all attacking players will be with GK's in finishing exercise.
Key to entire session is to encourage maximum movement's & rotations throughout all positions. Center midfielders must find ways to create angles to receive the ball & play through the thirds.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Three Zones w/Large Goal at Each End.
Each team has a GK, 2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders & 2 Attackers.
There is a common player that will play with the team in possession.
Players are restricted to their zone.
Red is building up & one midfielder is allowed to drop into the defensive zone & create a 4v2 overload.
They must find a way to get the ball into the midfield using at least one pass in the defensive zone.
The midfield zone is always 3v2 using the common player.
The midfield zone is looking to progress the ball by pass or dribble into the attacking zone. Attacking players can drop into the midfield zone to creat and overload, but they must be replaced by a midfield player so there is always 2 attacking players in the final zone.

Lee's Midfield Rotations (20 mins)
Four 10x10 Boxes w/Defensive Support Players
Midfield players play 3v3 in the area & have the freedom to move anywhere in the area. The restriction is for the possession team to only have one player per quadrant. This ensures players must rotate through different boxes to create space. Defensive support players are restricted to two touches but can pass back & forth, as well as end to end.
1 Point is given when midfielders receive the ball from a support player & play to the other end successfully.
2 Points are given when there is at least one pass made between midfielders before a successful transition.
