GK starts with the ball with a roll out to any Blue defender
Work with the Red striker
Where does he go on the pitch? Why?( the striker moves along shuffling sideways so he is facing the ball in an arc. This is giving the blues an area to pass the ball along the back row)
The striker makes sure he is in a line with the centre spot, himself and the ball. But doesn't press fully but close enough to stop a forward pass.
As the ball is being passed along the back the striker must start working out on triggers for him to win the ball which could be: Bad touch,Bad pass, Bad movent(to close to the striker)
All the time making sure that a forward pass could be a risk for the Blues and a oppurtunity to win the ball.
As the ball is being passed along the back the Red MF players must start to react to where the ball is and player they are marking.
Remembering not to go to close to the Blue player but close enough so that he is not an option for a forward pass. Only when the ball is coming towards them do they break their line otherwise work as a unit in a line and be compact
A good body position in regarding to where the ball is could help dictate for the Reds where they want the Blues to pass the ball (setting a trap)
If the ball does go into Blues MF the striker must turn and focus on trying to make a 2v1 situation with the MFP working on the clockface forcing the BMF into an error.
with the practice above make sure that the 4 Red MFP stay in a line so they are compact if one breaks the line it's an oppurtinuity for them to exploit that space
Keep making the Blues play out from the back resulting in different phases of play resulting in diiferent outcomes each time
keep asking striker questions on his movement as to: Where, How, Why What's the outcome
Reds

Let them play focus on the Red striker given space for the Blue back 4 to play the ball around waiting for the right oppurtunity to win the ball byding his time. If the ball breaks that line how can the RMF regain the ball. Are they compact if not Why? what's the outcome
Challenges for the Reds: If the ball breaks the strikers line How long before Red's win then ball back get the players to set the limit.
Work on the body position to send Blues where they have better support
Blues challenges:
What can they do to break the Red strikers line. midfield line and create a goal scoring oppurtunity.
what if they change their formation?
what's the outcome

Work with Striker on his movement without the ball to prevent the Blues making a forward pass.
Balls can only be passed by a throw bounce ball and not overhead height
Can the Red MF help striker out depending on where the ball is?
