⚽Practice Organization

  • An activation exercise which triggers the ''quick feet'' ability of the players and combine the stability with single leg landing technique. A s we can observe from the above figure players have to execute quick feet skips in various ways and eventually unilaterally inside the indicated hoop  
⚽Key Coaching Points

  • Players execute side skip
  • Players execute frontal skip
  • Players execute high knees skip
  • Players execute high knees side skip
  • Single jumps
  • Double skip and jump(after instantly jump and land in the hoop)
  • Players have to avoid spending ''long'' time on the ground, we expect small contact time 
  • After landing in the hoop, player have to step to the side' rotate their body and sprint at the start of their queue
  • This exercise will be executed for 5 minutes
  • After the pass of the 2:30 minutes, we pause the exercise we provide feed back and we motivate the players to increase their pace and intensity
  • We want the intensity to be increase incrementally as the time pass
  • Coach always motivates the players

  • This is a very good exercise to prepare players, entirely and mentally 
  • A very promising addition can be the incorporation of ball and passing
  • Provide more quick feet exercises to the players
  • Tall sticks can very easily transform this exercise into a fun competitive game
