Organization:
- Six players per area
- Two on either side of middle line
Instructions:
- Two middle players pass the ball between themselves holding for 3 seconds
Coaching Points:
- Movement as ball travels
-Covering player in position to block penetrating line
- Communication between players
- Pressuring player keeping pressure on if middle player decides to dribble

Instructions:
attacking team attempts to score
if the ball leaves the area, then is the standing attacking team's turn (defense reset quickly)
rotate defending team after a certain time period (defending team that allowed least goals win)
Coaching Points:
*speed and angle of approach by 1st defender should forcer attacker into cover
* angle and distance by 2nd defender (cover)
* ability to change roles quickly and correctly
* correct moment to tackle
* communicatin between defenders
Progressions:
limit touches giving defenders opportunity to interchange positions

1.40 x 25 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players (2 teams of 6, 1 player resting from each team) set up as shown
3.1 ball (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1.Teams play 2v2 in each half of the field
2.Players are restricted to move and play only within their zone
3.Any player is permitted to score
4.Normal restart rules apply (thrown-ins, goal kicks, and corners)
5.Rotate in resting players at set time intervals
Coaching Points:
1.Speed and angle of approach should force attacker into cover
2.Angle and distance of 2nd defender
3.Ability to change roles quickly and correctly
4.2nd defender needs to keep both attackers in view
5.Communicate to 1st defender
6.Transition to attack
Progressions:
P – Take away restriction zones and play 4v4
R – Allow free pass out of defense at the point of transition

Instructions:
- Players press nearest ball and hold defensive position until covering defender directs the pressing player to press next ball
- 2nd defender gives specific instructions to 1st defender, "show inside" or "show outside"
Coaching Points:
- Angle, speed and distance of approach
- Deny space and penetration
- Provide clear and specific instructions from 2nd defender to 1st defender
- Open body stance when showing player inside
- Closed body stance when showing player on the outside

- Allow second defender to decide upon command
