SET UP: 20x30 yrds 18 players 9v9
PROCEDURE: Teams look to score a point by successfully playing up to their 'holding player' in the squared zone. On completion of the pass the reciever dribbles out and the passer replaces them in the box. A new defender must also be replaced.
PROGRESSION: 'Holding players' can move in and out the box to create space but must recieve pass in the box.
COACHING POINTS: Keep ball on back foot, use body to protect the ball, use strength to turn opponent.

SET UP: 3/4 pitch 18 players 9V9 (1-1-2-4-1 Vs. 1-1-2-4-1)
PROCEDURE: To set up an attack, teams must play through their 'holding player' before penertraing the attacking zone and attack the opponents goal.
PROGRESSION: Free play - no zones
COACHING POINTS: Keep ball on back foot, use body to protect the ball, use strength to turn opponent.

SET UP: 10x20 yrds 8 players
PROCEDURE: Attacker at the midpoint recieves a pass from the server under pressure from the defending team. The attacker hpld up the ball and tries to turn and play a pass out to one of the wide players. Game is over once a wide player recieves the ball.
PROGRESSION: 2v2 end players now become involed.
