Shooting with laces
Player A passes to player B who takes a touch then shoots. Player B follows pass to shoot next and Player A returns to the back of his line.
This same process is repeated by reds.

Take cones back so shooting further away

Feeder passes the ball to shooter 1 who controls and shoots
Feeder then passes opposite way to shooter 2 who controls and shoots.
4 attempts each. Get the balls in and swap roles. S1 & 2 become GK & Feeder.
Feeder and GK become S1 & 2.
Promotion relegation.
1 point for target and 3 points for a goal.
1 moves up 2/3 stays and 4 goes down.

Technique/skill
Same practice as the challenge we are looking at laces shots.
Key points
A- no.10 standing foot and ball make a no.10 or 01 if left footed.
B- Head over the ball, body over the ball, toe down and leg pulled back as far as it will go to generate power as you swing through the ball.
C- Middle foot (laces) middle of ball. 6 o clcock.
F- Follow through foot points towards corner of goal.
Progression
Change serve of feeder to practice different shots i.e Thierry Henry touch and place in corner.
Challenge
Have a cone under the goal cone to make a corner target. If you score in the corner its 5 points, in the goal 3 points and on target 1 point. -1 point if you miss completely.

SSG
3 v 3 plus a magic man who plays for team in possession.
1 team attacks the goal the other has to pass through the poles to score.
Coach shouts one of the gate numbers where the ball will be played from to the team attacking the goal. Each round has 9 balls. 3 goals for scoring in the big goal. 1 goal for the poles.
Every team should attack the big goal once and also defend and score in the poles once in each round.
Challenge
Score a goal with the technique learnt and get double the points so 6 goals.
Hit the target for a goal.
Miss the target -1 goal.

Players must stay in allocated half.
Encourage shooting from own half.
Strikers can only score 1 touch finish but can set their own team players up in the defensive half.

Challenge
If you score a goal you keep possession and start again from your goalkeeper. For every consecutive goal you score from then you receive 3 goals instead of 1. If the opposition score you have to score 1 goal again to go for the 3 goals.

Number players 1 to 5, whichever number the coach shouts out is the goal keeper.
Facilitate only no coaching let them play and work out for themself
If one team scores the other team starts with a ball from the middle next to the coach or the goal keeper turns their back to attackers and throws the ball out.
Cone off an area for the goal keeper which he must stay in. Players can only score outside the area, but can go in the area to retrieve the ball and block shots.
