Ball Control with foot movement

Essence: Dribble with the ball under close control through the obstacles.

Struture: A player starts with the ball at point A. They first dribble through the line of cones. They then dribble through the hurdle (the ball goes under the hurdle while the player jumps over and regains control of the ball). Next, the player makes a controlled dribble around the tyre. The player then moves through the next hurdle and through the line of cones and finishes at point B.

Pointers: Ensure the ball remains on the stick (close control)

Variations: Set up 2 or 3 of the same drill. Make it a race between teams to see which side can finish the course first. The team sitting behind point B having all completed the course is the winner.

King of the Circle

Essence: Dribbling the ball under close control in a small area.

Structure: 4 - 5 players each start with a ball. When the whistle goes, each player moves around inside the circle with their ball. The aim is to steal the other playes ball while maintaining control of their own ball. A player is eliminated when their ball is played outside of the circle. The last player remaining is the King of the Circle

Variations:

- Increase or decrease the size of the area.

- allow for a "second chance" if a player is eliminated early
