Organization:

Teams of 3 players
1 Ball per team, ball starts with middle player
Instructions:
Pass the ball to wide player and create overlap
1st receiving player dribble inside then create overlap with 3rd player on team
Complete minimum of 2 overlaps before reaching opposite side
Coaching Points:
Connection between combining players (Verbal/Non-Verbal)
Receiving player cut inside to create space for overlap (drag defender in when opposed)
Pass with nearest surface to target player (Outside of foot)
Speed of movement off the ball to create overlap

5 yard end zone
3 Attackers (White) 2 Defenders (Blue)
Plenty of soccer balls
Instructions:
- Objective for attacking team is to get the ball into the 5 yard end zone under control for 1 point
- If defending team steal, they score a point for every completed pass they make in 2v3 situation
Coaching Points:
- 1st attacker to commit 1st defender and to try to create separation from 2nd defender
- 2nd attacker to offer good support to try to create 2v1
- 3rd attacker to add width and try to get in behind defense
- Can 3rd attacker check back to receive to feet if penetrating pass is not on?
- Play at speed
- What type of pass is most effective?
- How can penetrating pass best be played?
- Where on the field can you best eliminate defensive shape?

Organization:
Half of 8v8 field
3 Attackers (White) 2 Defenders (Blue) GK if present
Plenty of soccer balls
Instructions:
- Objective for attacking team is to score a goal
- If defending team steal, they can score immediately into either counter goal at midfield
- If ball goes out, play is dead and will restart from center player
- Ball is always passed in to start practice
- Play for set period or set number of balls
Coaching Points:
- Checking away from pressure to receive
- Comiting 1st defender to the ball
- Movement from 3rd player to add width and drag 2nd defender away to isolate 2v1
- Playing from 1st attacker to 3rd attacker if good defensive shape (Pressure, Cover)
- Playing at speed
- Providing balance in case of transition, can we defend if ball is lost?

Organization:
On 7v7 field, goals at edge of the box
2 teams, GK in each goal (If no GK, use Pugg in corners of goals)
Plenty of soccer balls
Instructions:
- Play 3v2 to score
- As soon as goal is scored, Blue team are attacking in opposite direction with Z introducing the new ball
- Player who scored (C) cannot defend, A & B transition to defend aginst X, Y & Z
- If ball goes out on the side, play kick ins
- Only transition new players after shot off target or a goal
- Offside rule as per regular soccer game
Coaching Points:
- 1st attacker commit 1st defender at speed
- 2nd attacker offer support for combination
- 3rd attacker movement away from the ball to unbalance defense and to receive penetrating pass
- Creativity in exposing defenders; what surface to use, timing of pass, decoy runs
- Pressure, cover when in defensive shape
Progressions:
- Time limit to score once team has crossed half way line
- 1 touch finish
