Passing activation
This exercise will work on our first touch and moving after the pass.
Two touch max: Push to space, pass, follow the pass. The pattern works on our inside outside style of play with the central focus on using the holding midfielders (double pivots) to switch the point of attack through. Players are moving off the cone, into space, and receiving the pass in the direction they intend to play in. The ball must stay on the ground and players are instructed to pass with the correct pace to not slow the drill down.
The focus in constant ball movement and player movement. Keep the ball flowing around the field, without pausing or holding on to the ball too long.
