1) GK holds ball in hands. GK tosses ball over head then receives a volley from coach. After the catch, the GK must quickly distribute ball back to coach then catch original ball falling down. Timing is important. we want feet to remain active but in place.
2) Second Progression requires GK to hold two balls, one in each hand. On cue, GK tosses both balls straight up in the air. And repeats the volley sequence. Only change, is now the last catches are with two balls and one handed.

2 GK's working with Coach who is on a knee behind balls.
3rd GK doing footwork until the switch
Ball 1 will always go left
Ball 2 will always go to hands in center
Ball 3 will alwasy go right
If Ball 1 or 3 is played through the poles. GK takes touch to outside and passes back to Coach
If Ball 1 or 3 is rolled outside the poles. GK makes diving save.
Ball 2 can be played at any time for quick reaction save to hands.
Balls to the outside of poles can be rolled or tossed mid height.
Balls inside the poles need to be 2 touch back from GK.
GK works for 30-45 seconds then moves to agilty cones.
GK at agilty cones is now on deck, and on deck GK in now working.

a)When to advance? Move forward when oppositon doses not have possession of ball, bad touch,through ball.
b)How?Low down, get low and hands open "open gate"
3)Delay and force opposition wide when possible.
