Organization:
40-50 yards wide by 30-40 yards long depending on how many players. Two teams of 6, attacking two small goals and defending two small goals.
Instruction:
Laws of the game. The ball always begins with the GK or CB anytime the ball goes out of bounds. Can either play a 2-3-1 or a 1-4-1 players choice. When a goal is scored, team that scores gets to start with the ball again.
Coaching Points/Questions:
How can we relate what we just worked on in the previous drill into this session?
Circulate ball to create space or pull out defender
Circulate ball to penetrate
- Possession to Penetrate
Circulation to play forward
- Create Advantage to Attack (overloads)
Create number superiority in specific areas of the field (+1 midfield and sideline)

P: Players have a touch limit. Must move ball winger to winger before scoring.

Organization:
2 lines of players just inside half of 9v9 field, each player needs a ball.
Game:
Blue will attack goal 1v0 and has 5 seconds to get a shot off. Once the shot is off, red will attack 1v1 against blue. 5 minutes then rotate sides.
Coaching Points:
-Go at speed
-Striking technique
-ball at an angle, toe pointed down, strike with laces, plant foot next to ball, land on shooting foot.
-Pick a corner (look at where keeper is)
-Which moves are good at speed (scissors, lunge, fake shot)
