The goal of the training session is to further reinforce passing and receiving, with an emphasis on movement off the ball and creating/identifying passing options

Org.: 18Wx25L field; 3 groups of 4 players
Obj.: Players are numbered 1 to 4 in their group and must pass the ball in sequential order, whilst not being able to pass across grid, only side to side. Players are encouraged to use 2 touches when they play
Prog.: 1. 2 touches (any foot); 2-3. R-R/L-L; 3. Add another ball (if deemed possible). 4. One touch passes
Lim.: 5 x 3 minutes
Ques./Coach Pts.:
1. How do we know where our next pass will be? A: Looking for teammate before we receive
2. How do we prepare to receive and make the next pass? A: Open our hips and take the touch where we want to pass
3. Where can we provide these passing options for our teammate? A: To the left or right of the player with the ball
4. What shape are we forming by being in different squares? A: Diamonds

- Passing: Accuracy, weight & timing
- Movement off the ball: Where to move - right and left of player with ball.

Obj.: Teams look to maintain possession and score points by passing through the coned gates. If the defending team wins the ball and look to score in one of the goals before the other team wins it back

Variations: Allow players to dribble thru gates to score, Play with transition to offense instead of goas
