Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): ACL Assessment Passing

Drill

Equipment & Set Up:

Balls, Mannequins, Goals

Instruction:

Player A passes to Player B who opens up to find Player C with pass. Player C opens up and find Player D who takes a touch and shoots.

Players follow thier pass. Player D collects ball and joins the next channel.

Instruction:

The aim is to combine passes to make space to pass the ball to one of any four target players positioned between the markers. Two teams play in the middle area as shown above using the neutral players to keep possesion of the ball. When a target player recives the ball they should pass the ball back to the attacking team.

Teams are swapped every couple minutes to give all players an opportunity to attack and defend.

Conditioned Game

Equipment & Set Up:

Goals, Balls, Bibs & Flat Markers

7's Park split into four areas

Instruction:

For play to advance ball must be passed into the next area. On ce the ball is played into the next area attacking players can join the attack to create an overload. Defending players must remain in their area.

If the ball is lost players must get back into shape.
